A Bit About Speech and Language Therapy
Therapy is extremely effective in improving the skills that are being targeted. However, it really does take two in the process: the therapist and the parents/family members. In my practice I create and carry out the intervention plan specifically designed for the deficits being demonstrated and just as importantly, I involve the family so that the skills are carried over into the home setting.

Guidance Every Step of the Way
Pediatrics
Children are treated for expressive language delays, comprehension deficits, cognitive deficits, feeding disorders, and dysfluent speech. Click on Pediatrics in drop down menu for more details.
Adults Therapy
Adults are treated for any type of speech and/or language deficit that resulted from a brain injury. Treatment for swallowing disorders and voice disorders also offered.
Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations are carried out to determine the exact deficits that the child or adult is demonstrating. Based on the deficit, a certain type of evaluation will be carried out. Screenings are also provided in order to determine if a full evaluation is recommended.
