Therapy

Providing The Intervention You Need

Therapy sessions are offered for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes for children and adults. Once the evaluation has been completed and it has been determined that the person will benefit from therapy, the recommendation of duration of therapy will be made based on severity and client’s/parent’s personal schedule. Communication with parents and teachers is carried out on a consistent basis to ensure that the child is carrying over the skills in each setting.

Language

A personalized treatment plan is designed based on the findings from the language evaluation. Therapy will be carried out often through play targeting the deficits. Depending on the child's age, more structured activities will also be carried out.

Speech

Speech therapy consists of targeting the affected sounds at varying levels of difficulty. Sounds are initially targeted in isolation then are worked on at varying lengths of utterances until success in spontaneous speech is reached.
